I didn't think you would agree Doug, based on your comments from a previous post ;) I appreciate your feedback as always, I disagree with you, but I appreciate it :) And thanks for your very kind words about the last post!

Hi Laura; I read your most recent blog post and found it VERY good....

This one? Not so much. You don't make a very good argument at all for the use of a rank report or it's benefits... which is none. Sorry. No; I really am sorry. I loved your recent blog post though. :)

We have just entered the reputation management market with a new product called VibeMetrix. I'd appreciate it if you could take a look and let me know what you think.

I think we're all on the same page - of a different book. SEO has always been an opportunity for people with multiple skill sets to thrive.

While I agree that being a programmer can make you a better SEO, so can being an analyst, an economist, or a mathematician.

I use those examples because I've worked with, learned from, been mentored by, and greatly respect several SEO's with those titles. I hold myself as a halfway decent web developer, but when it comes to SEO I've got a lot to learn from them.

The more you spread your self across industries that require you to be on top of your game, the more you dilute your skill set in any one of them.

There is something to be said for specialization.

Thank you for your excellent comments Doug, glad to have you as a reader.
